Q1. Why the SCC web, whitepaper look simple but will eventually beat all competitors?

SCC is the first parallel blockchain in the world and has following characteristics:

1. Throughput can reach millions per second with multiple servers.

99% of current ICO coins are business innovation and based on defining a customized contract (modified ERC20 template on web, one experienced programmer need only 1 day) on Ethereum platform. Q7. How does SCC achieve parallel processing and when source code will open source?

Founder Dave invented the first parallel processing of blockchain. He has 17 years of research on block-chain, 3 databases, CPU, MP parallel scaling, storage and 5 real-time application. We are in the process of patenting and patents will disclose some information.

Because source code is done in C++ and we can’t find out if other use our patented once C++ is compiled into binary, so large portion of the technology has to be put as confidential within few people in company. But Server side code is an optional and overlaying structure on top of Bitcoin source code, so all code related to wallet, client, mining are still open sourced. It is only the optional code is confidential for now, we might release it once we have a more dominate market share. Another worry is that open-sourcing of payment code will increase the risk of being hacked. DAO being hacked is one example you can read more below.

Q8. How does SCC compare to EOS or Ethereum plasma or Lighting Network in performance?

EOS has a fixed block size of 3 second, will try to allocate transactions to different CPU (which is already done today, not new), and EOS still use existing block-chain structure. So many on the web claim EOS is cheating and we think their claim of “millions of transactions per second” is just lie. Block size of 3 second, theoretical best latency is 3 second. We did not see any possibility that their design can support millions of transactions. EOS might be banned due to cheating.

SCC initial latency is about 1 second, will go to 100 msec in two years, and potentially go to 20 msec as we have experience implement billing system at Comverse at 20 msec and half a billion users before.

Ethereum plasma using child-tree to branch out transaction at the sacrifice of security, as child node will be through away when there is attack; Lighting Network using similar idea to reduce main chain load: local P2P channel payment, Lighting Network protocol is complex and we think only a small number of transaction are repeated and there is risk to extend a transaction channel too long. Both Plasma and Lighting Network on slightly reduce the pain for Ethereum and Bitcoin, just as their “hard fork” did. Other Ethereum’s problem is its ponderous structures with endless loop-holes, VM, unbounded function run at run-time, flexible syntax, read their security page and DAO hacking story are alarming.

In summary, SCC is the first real parallel block chain in the world, it has 600 times better performance, 20~1000 msec latency, 30 times less transaction fee and 10~100 times better security.

Q9. What’s the smart contract difference between SCC and Ethereum?

Ethereum runs “unbounded” functions or smart contract on top of their customized Solidity language on their customized VM. That is very ambitious, but working on such numerous, gigantic projects will need thousands of developers which they don’t have. that is why we see so many hacking and security problems plague their system. Open gigantic system is very, very risky. Their designs are way too aggressive and will continue has security issue for decades. The success of Ethereum is mainly because 99% ICO is defined on it, but we believe 95% of these tokens will die and Ethereum might not continue this glory.

SCC will adopt a much more secure approach as we are focus on payments, the worst we want is losing users’ money. We will strictly use banking transaction technology we have gained before. Users can only write NON-Executive” xml procedure or pre-approved stored procedures. Even for these, customized platform is separate from our payment system. We want our payment platform be 100% bullet-proof.

Q10. What are the weakness block-chains?

Block chains are linear, PKI for encryption is very slow and consume a lot of CPU. Block chains are slow in aggregation, statistics, search, classification, large data….etc. and vast majority of block chain projects which need the above features, or having low economic value are technically or economically not feasible. Most investors and most technical people don’t have full-knowledge, or misunderstood of block-chains. About 95% of block-chain projects will become too slow to use as data growing bigger, such as waiting for 10 minutes to find out a restaurant’s name. In these areas, databases are thousands to millions times faster than block-chain, also cost hundreds of times less. Investors should be very careful to study the feasibility of block-chain projects. In fact, 95% of them are fallacies technically or economically.

In addition to performance and cost(CCT), narrow scope of application, low economical value and not using crossing border feature also will doom blockchain as blockchain mining is in fact, very expensive. ARN, ENT will have problems with low economic value and narrow scope and no application of cross-border features.
